Hahahah Steve...Well they look like wee guards sitting up there and watching what is happening in their wee neighborhood. Here we have cul de sacs houses at the end of a street they turn into a circle (cul de sca).....where you can turn your car around and head out where you came from...and people like to sit at their kitchen tables and watch the people come and go around their little neighborhood...and see exactly whats going on...hence the name cul de sac patrol. Probably clear as mud now right? See you will have to come here and see for your self:):):)
