Good value boutique accommodation Jun 19, 2011
Stayed during my mountain climbing trip to Camiguin for a weekend. Cost only P600 for an air-conditioned room and that seemed quite cheap. No breakfast included tho but that's fine :) Very basic and only provide towel, shampoo and soap. The room is small but it's ok, manageable. Walls are not thick so noises from the other room could be heard to the adjoining room.

Power interruption happens in Camiguin and this hotel does not have generator so you'll have to sleep through without the aircon. It was not too warm tho.

The people managing it were pleasant and accommodating. We asked for some hot water in the morning bec we would like to have some instant noodle one morning and they gave us for free. They also try to help us get in touch with the motorcycle rental by trying to call them when we were trying to find them to return the bike.

Payment was made by check-out and staff immediately responds when we ask for assistance. Only cash are accepted as payment tho.

It's a new room whcih is built like a duplex houses. Clean with basic amenities. It's only a one storey unit and looks like a small compound as the "cottages" surrounds a small garden in the middle.

Easy to locate as people know the cottages in the area. There are many restaurants to go to in just few steps from outside the hotel and the choices are varied too. The hotel doesnt provide food service.

There's a small TV inside the room and a small veranda outside the room which we used to hang out and park the motorcycle.

No gate and the only security is locking your room door but it's a safe neighborhood and quiet too.

Will recommend people on budget to stay here.

I'm not sure if you are referring to the pizza place we went for dinner one night. It was supposedly a decent and relatively expensive resto. It's expensive alright, but not worth the money. My pizza was eeeeewwww...seemed like they served me with bad cheese :(

Nice Place Mar 14, 2010
Our stay in Paguia's cottages was great, cost us 1,500 but the room was huge, can accomodate 4 persons and has it's own bathroom. It's just 100 meters away from the beach and fronting the boats where you can ride your way to the Sand Bar / White Island. Perfect for backpackers especially if your in a group! I love the place.
