Pagudpud is a coastal beach town on the northernmost tip of the island of Luzon.  My main destination for today's trip is the secluded beach called Blue Lagoon. From Laoag, the town of Pagudpod is just an hour away via the open air mini buses available around for 85 pesos per person. It was a good decision to have taken this ride in daylight as the scenic drive shouldn't be missed. Along the way, we already saw a glimpse of South China Sea on our left.
