I awoke at 7:30 this morning and figured that Judy would already be up, showered, dressed, and tapping her toe waiting for me to pack the car and get on the road for her Quilt Museum in Paducah, Kentucky. She was still asleep! But it didn’t take her long to awaken to my noises and we were pretty well ready to go in short period. Down to a cold breakfast at the hotel, packed the car, checked out and on the road.

Today my travels took me through Paducah, Kentucky. My parents had told me to stop through at the Museum of the American Quilt Society. I was apprehensive, but my parents have been good to me and I figured it couldn't be worse than visiting the museum of the Erie canal as a child. At any rate, it was $8, but it also housed some amazing quilts. I had no idea how cool quilts could look.
