Genreal Packing Advice Apr 03, 2011
1. Pack enough clothes for HALF the time you will be away.

2. Roll some items instead of folding.

3. If travelling with some one else, mix and match your belongings so that if one person loses their luggage, both people have some items.

4. Inform yourself of airline restrictions

5. Don't bring too much stuff!

My packing list for 1 year travelling Apr 10, 2011
Well, I thought I would give you an insight into my bag. You may find this helpful if you're about to go travelling. I have been travelling for a year now and I think I have it down to a fine art. So here goes:

60 litre pack + 20 litre day pack:

6 tshirts

2 singlets

4 shirts (going out)

1 jeans

2 shorts

1 swim shorts

8 pants

4 socks (ankle length)

2 trainers (one smart, one trecking)

1 sandles

1 cargo pants

1 long sleeve top

1 anorak

I keep all of this in my main pack. Should it get lost or stolen I havent lost anything too important.

In my day sack I have my more important things such as laptop and camera.

Hope that helps!

Keep it basic. And have fun!
