Rice is my passion in life. Anyone who knows anything about me knows this one fact: I couldn’t live without rice, and I would never want to try.

Therefore, for me it was essential to find a good Japanese restaurant in Chicago that I could frequent when cravings for sushi overpowered (a daily occurrence).

I think I have stumbled across such a place; it’s called Oysy and serves damn good sushi at a really reasonable price. They have some tasty traditional sushi/sashimi plates as well as some interesting creative ones. The fish tastes like it was caught 5 minutes ago: so fresh, I felt I had died and gone to heaven. there is another oysy in the south loop near my place ... equally good, but enjoy the location a bit better (across from grant park). there is better sushi to be found in chicago, but you do make an excellent point on oysy's value
