Important Note: HOLY S**T it was cold! I am talking -15 degrees celsius people! So we went to Lillehammer in the early afternoon, then we went and got lunch, before heading for the Winter Park. We arrived about 15 minutes before it opened and danced around and complained about how cold it was. Now in Norway they have a saying = " there is no bad weather just bad clothes" well blue jeans and no ski mask were killing me at that moment :) even my fingers were cold just standing ...

Getting out of the car at the parking lot was like entering the North Pole.. it was freezing cold, and coming from the heat in the car and out in -15 celsius was just BAD! lol... During winter season the park is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays and opening hours are from 4 pm to 8 pm. The tickets for the entrance is NOK 195 pr.person for adults, and a little less for kids up to 12 years old. Today is March 8th and in Norway it's women's day, but for me that means nothing much then another day. This day would be different from the other since we had made plans on visiting the winterpark close to Lillehammer. A friend of mine, Liz aka quest here on TB, had been there a few weeks earlier and told me about the place and me having kids had an extra excuse for going there.
