Great with children Jul 15, 2015
I took my one year old to this farm to introduce him to some animals. The best part it is absolutely free. There was plenty of parking and it's located in a easy to reach location right by the Wilson Bridge between MD and VA. Only minutes from the National Harbor.

I really recommend this when you have family visiting with small children. There's no petting zoo, but you do get to milk a cow at 10am if you want to. ;) They also have pigs, a goat, some chickens, horses, and a duck pond.

We did not explore the buildings, but there's a small museum and there are plenty of markers with historic background of the farm and its owners.

Mark, we should!! We can go to eat at the National Harbor right after. It's literally 2 minutes from there.

Bill, it has a nice picnic area as well. It's a nice little place to explore if you don't want to go far.

Fun indeed. Can't wait until Ben actually pays attention to animals. lol
