Started back in about 1988 this restaurant chain has spread like a virus all over the United States and they also have locations in many other countries. The idea is strictly Australian and the decor promotes every well-worn stereotypical idea about Australia. The atmosphere is casual and tends to draw the young college age crowd and families. The menu begins with steaks and goes from there including seafood. One of the special items here is the blooming onion, but they do have quite a few others. We always stick with the good steaks and they always cook them the way they say they will. Their baked potatoes are very good with the skin covered with salt crystals. Some locations offer lobster tails with a meal for a minimal added cost. I tend to buy one for my wife. She loves them. The prices are very fair if not just a little high. The bar serves anything you’d like and has TVs with sports showing. Only downside: Because of the bar in the middle with pro games on TVs the noise level is usually higher than many restaurants. We still visit one at least twice a year. It really is a good meal.
