Our Lucaya Reef Village Resort Freeport (Bahamas) Reviews
the Sheraton at Our Lucaya, Grand Bahamas Island Jul 11, 2009
My Wife, daughter and I stayed at the Sheraton at Our Lucaya June 15th through the 18th. We booked it through cheapcarribbean.com. So the price was included in the package deal but it was pretty good for the location. The best thing about the hotel was that it was right on the beach. Also it was right across the Islands biggest market place. So the location itself was great. All you need within walking distance. Except the grocery stored which is a mile and a half away. The room service was really good also. We ate dinner twice in the room and both times the food was great, everything from the pasta to the turkey sandwich. The price of the food was high, just like all the other food on the island. Now I come to the negative parts of the Hotel, the price of everything else. I think this was common for the island but the prices of everything besides the room itself were a little high. We needed some laundry done and it cost a lot. I can’t remember the exact price. Also the 1 phone call we made cost us a petty good penny so to speak. That was it though, the price of everything besides the room itself, which I think it very common on an island.

More beach time and exploring the near-by Port Lucaya, nothing new to report except the midnight stroll on the beach last night may have been a bad idea. I don't think even a whole-body dip in DEET could have kept the sand-fleas at bay. This is goin…… Conclusions |
