Ottimo menu a prezzo fisso escluse le bevande. Da provare assolutamente i "pici", pasta locale fatta a mano. Buoni i crostini di pane con olio piccante offerti dalla casa. Buone scelte di vino di Montepulciano.

Nice little place. It's right inside the old town gates, so it's quite tourist-heavy. Tourist-heavy for a small city like Montepulciano, that is. Not bad for people-watching, though, if you sit at one of the few table lining the street outside the restaurant. The food is pretty inexpensive to be in such a touristy area, and quite good. Good wine, too. You can splurge and buy the famous Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, or you can drink the table wine (which is consistently fantastic anywhere in Montepulciano) and buy some wine later from one of the local producers. Either way, I give the place 3 stars.
