Osteria al Doge Reviews

Aug 19, 2006
When I went to NYC, we hunted relentlessly for a restaurant that didn't have a long wait. We ended up in times square...amidst the city lights.. starving after a long days drive. We turned the corner and saw the fancy fine dining establishment,Osteria al Doge. Inside we found elegant settings and authentic venetian cuisine. We started with CARPACCIO DI BIETOLE E CAPRINOI which was a red beet salad. For my entree I ordered Calamari Alla Griglia- calamari marinated with lemon and herbs. The food was incredible. We also received fresh bread and bread twists. The entree prices ranged from 19-30 dollars, but the food was well worth it. The service was great. Our waiter was even italian. If you feel like fine dining, and feeling like you're in Europe, Osteria al Doge is the place for you.
