My time in Oslo Norway

With my friend Paul, my sister Mirjam and her boy Gerard, we drove around Scandinavia hundreds of kilometres a day.

I have no idea what I am going to do here, except I hope to meet up with the TB Journey while I am there.

Travelling through Europe has been an amazing experience. The more I explore this region, the better it gets. Culture, people, and the life style is simply nice to be around.

Other than mountains, trees, snow, and water, I didn't really know what to expect from my first Norwegian adventure. I visited Oslo and the surrounding area. I found the good and the bad. I found the beautiful and the surprising....the scary! It did just give me a taste of a very different country...leaving me wanting to know more.

Our journey started at Harwich, UK embarking the Jewel of the Seas, Royal Caribbean International on June 27, 2008 and ends at the same place on July 10, 2008. It was a well planned cruise vacation, for one reason - I turned 60, and to make it more enjoyable journey, I and my wife invited a close family friend who also turned 60 the same month of June.
