Grad students have no time or money.... and yet history students manage to include some pretty awesome trips alongside their "research". Here's what I do when not staring at old pieces of paper in dusty archives.

I'll be recapping my trip to Scandinavia - Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo and Bergen.

I'm convinced there is no better way to arrive in Norway than by boat.  We took the Color Line Ferry from Kiel, Germany, which weaves its way through the islands around Denmark.  I braved the winds and took in the scenery from the upper deck until it began to grow dark- for those not…

This is my Bog Blog! Call them whatever you like: dunnies, pissers, gravy bowls, pissoirs, porcelain caves, potties, loos, crappers, dumpers, shitters, outhouses, throne, bogs, longdrops, WC's. As much as we dont want to think about it, even good looking girls have to crap every day! The vast array of toilets in the world have fascinated me for a long time. This blog will be continuously updated as long as I continue to travel the world and wake up needing to hang a dump.

The scandanavia trip consisted of visiting Oslo, Norway, Stockholm, Sweden, Gdansk, Poland, and Helsinki, Finland.

My friend Tor Egil and I took a daytrip across the border to Sweden. The weather was awesome to be mid August.. it was as if summer came back. :o)

Premierement, laissez-moi vous dire la chose la plus importante sur Oslo.  C'EST FUCKING CHER!!!!!!  Incroyable.  Je pensais que les gens exageraient (genre la "Suisse c'est cher"...) mais non, je l'ai appris a mes depens.  Juste pour bouffer, ca te coute un minumum de 10$. …

Very nice trip to Sweden, Norway and Denmark! I need to go back there: 5 days is too short to consistently appreciate these countries' beautiful cities and natural heritage.

Did I mention that EZ OK had the strangest meals?  I'm vaguely remembering some sort of nameless meat and cabbage, but it wasn't quite that bad.  Not mention it was a two hour flight and you absolutely do not get a meal on a US domestic flight of only two hours.

It was another good day on the market for me took a look at Euromax- programme on DW TV,German- and thought ok where in the world should we go today?, It was then my friend from Norway protested, why aren't you coming here Norway is beautiful, my reply what the hell is there to do in Norway?...she …
