Oslo is the capital of Norway. The history of the city can be traced back over 1000 years, although according to the chronicles of Snorre Sturlason, Oslo was founded in 1048, by the king Harald Hardråde. The city became capital of Norway around 1300, but lost its privileges during the Danish-Norwegian union from 1348 to 1814.

After 12 hours at the airport, drunk tourists on board, clogged toilets, 2 hours of a bus ride, hundreds of stairs, hunger, thirst, rain and storm we finally got there ;) Was it worth it? Hell! No doubt about that!

I went back for National Day, leaving sunny, warm Denmark and got hit with a ice block, it was really cold. I had a good time however and it was nice, i think there would have been more to do if it was a little warmer. I came back a week and a half later and enjoyed park life and some great new friends. For this trip i didn't do much clubbing or shopping i was just enjoying the days and hanging out. I came back in time for music day that was great i really enjoyed that.

We are lucky to have so many trails to chose from, almost at the doorstep. This place is just about 5 mins drive from my friends place, and I guess we should take advantage of that more often. As we often do, we start our hiking trips by taking pics. We always find something that we wanna shoot a…

First stop of our 2006 Cruise

Straight after the mild weather in Napoli, it was back to Paris, picking up some work attire and then the next morning off to Oslo. Rather chilly in comparison to where i was 24hrs earlier, but a nice work trip nevertheless. My first time to this Scandanavian city and the people are friendly and helpful! Didnt rate the cuisine so highly considering id just come basically from Napoli! A shame i didnt get to see more of it Oslo though.

Summer 2006 -my Sweden flight was like a school trip. The people I sat next to were all around my age-like mid to late 20s. Some were going to see friends while a few were going to a magic convention. So instead of reading I ended up watching my flight pals do magic tricks with cards. Some of the people on the flight were also on the same flight back to the states two weeks later w/ me.

My 'Annual European Exploration Adventure' weekend trip... this year was Oslo!

I went to Oslo in early September of 2006 in order to purchase some CDs that were stolen from me in Brazil. I was planning to get there in a Friday morning, but my plane got a delay and then we landed around 19h what made me lost my plans. My return flight to London was set to next day, then I couldn't enjoy it so much. I hope to come over Oslo to purchase everything back someday!
