It was a beautiful spring day when I walked around Oslo one last time before I left. The day was blessed with enough sunshine to keep me a bit warm because the air was still a bit cold that day.
As I can remember, I started from the central station and walked through Karljohan. Stopped by at the Parliament and then at the National Theather. Norway's National Day was coming up (happens on May 17th) so the city was filled with Norwegian flags and I actually didn't realize it at that time...

This wasn't really ment to be, like a tragic love story or something like that...I just ended up here by coincidence due to circumstances beyond my control. Not that it was bad to go here, far from it but just a sad way of getting here.
The weather was great and while i waited for the time to turn 3pm i walked around restlessly taking a few photo but not really have the inner peace to walk around the whole lake. There were plenty of people here and you could bump into just any type of perso...

Before going to Oslo I received a message from Gudny asking me if I had time to meet her. It thought it was a great idea to meet her and was looking forward to meet the one that had made the nice Oslo blog.
We changed cell phone nr and I promised to message her when I arrived Oslo to set up a time to meet her.
I had a tight schedule so we met in the hotel lobby where I was staying and went just around the corner from the hotel and sat outside in the sunshine.
Te...

I'm in Oslo now, if you're just wondering where on earth I am. Don“t care? Fine. I just read a message from someone asking me if I'm already in outerspace. Seriously dude, wtf? Am I that cool now?
I admit it was sad leaving Ireland, I had so much fun and my host Nina was really nice, kind-hearted, helpful, fun, and really kind-hearted (well, I know she'll read this....). Thanks for everything and I really feel bad because the only good thing that I did back to you was to scrub of...

This morning i met up with Gudny and Estephanie to explore Oslo. They both met me at my hostel so thank you both for not making me trekk across the city trying to find you guys. We first went up to the Ski Jump museum in Oslo, it is WAYYY UP on the hill, and is where one of the main events of the olympics were held. You can walk up to the lift and see just how high it is, and that I would never do something like that lol... We then had lunch and checked out the...

Wow, I had such a long sleep this night. I guess I slept from about 11 PM till 9.30 AM. I tried some walking first but my muscles were pretty stiff and hurted a little aswell. Anyway, that's part of running!
After a good shower it was time for Arjen and me to get some breakfast. After breakfast we went to National Theatre again, and took the metro from there to Majorstuen. We walked from the metrostation to Vigelandsparken, which is a very nice park. It's just beautiful to walk around there&...

When i woke up this morning i looked outside thinking i would probably stay inside all day long. After drinking my tea, which is something i do every morning, i got off my sore glutes and hit the shower. All of a sudden i got this urge to go outside and called my friend Lil who lives downtown Oslo. She was happy to hear from me since we hadn't hooked up in sometime. I suggested we bring the camera and go and take some photos and our destination was Frognerparken. We meet an hour later and the...

The night time is a lovely time to be out and see the buildings stand out with the dark sky in the background. The artifical light makes the buildings look quite amazing at times. Especially when you get the reflection from the water as well :)
Magical night with the sky dark as a Raven's eyes (only not as evil) and stars as bright as sparkeling diamonds in the snow. The houses lighting up the streets on a dark autumn night. People rushing by not really taking the time to see what is ar...

For me this tour started last year, when I learned that Bon Jovi would come to Norway for the first time in ages. A friend of mine, who's possibly an even bigger BJ fan then I am called me and said she wanted to sign up for a membership in the Backstage with Bon Jovi fanclub, so that she could get Inner Circle tickets. Since you could only get 2 tickets pr. membership, I signed up as well. I ordered my 2 tickets and so the waiting began.
And finally - after months of waiting, the day was her...

Monday morning 8am. Just about to wake up and start my day. Had planned to meet Gudny in Oslo and walk along the Aker river. Just had some stuff to take care of before I could leave.
At 9.30 was on my way. It was a beautiful morning and the day looked very promising indeed. I got a real clear indication to what laid ahead when I passed a boat harbor and the water was so still it looked like glass or a mirror. The reflection was just awesome.
I drove on to Mortensrud and ...
