I just flew into japan for the first time. I flew into kansai international airport. The group i am traveling with and i going to buy our shinkansen passes and head out to Kyoto. I didnt sleep on the plane so im very tired.

I’ve traveled extensively prior to 2006, yet never packed a camera (one more thing to worry about). Pity, I’ve only a few pics of this unforgettable trip to visit family in the Philippines w/ layovers in Osaka, Japan & Incheon, S.Korea. I’ve no photos of Manila, Quezon City, Luzon, Ta’al volcano and beautiful Boracay…and have learned never to travel without my camera again.

This trip was totally out of the blue, whilst on my Working Holiday Visa in New Zealand, I needed to get away from windy Wellington so I chose this strange combination. I was spoilt with beautiful deserted Motu in the South Pacific and amazed at the Japanese culture, its a Country like no other I've ever witnessed, a place I fell in love with and hope to return very soon.
