Wholesome food in the most unwholesome (but fun) stop in Southeast Asia Mar 22, 2008
This was the most basic of the non profit restaurants I went to as far as both the food and the environment. I ordered a rice dish and mulberry tea. I was confused when I was brought about a plate of red colored rice. We figured it was either some sort of unrefined rice or it possibly had mulberry in it. Whatever it was, it was and full of veggies and it tasted good and healthy and wholesome.
The Organic Farm is located just outside Vang Vieng and the profits of the farm go towards educating the local youth. They also have a guesthouse visitors can stay at and they allow people to volunteer on the farm or at their various community projects.
