Besides travelling the world, I also believe that the place you call home can hold some of the most expectacular beauty if you know where to look. This is the case with the US, 50 states with as much to offer as any country in the world. East coast to west coast, north to south, it is as different as night and day each with their own unique culture. There's something for everyone here! I offer you a very small peak of my incredible journey through this land I call home!

Fall by the Ocean
posted by:
Oct 10, 2007 - Oct 11, 2007
I love visiting Oregon in the fall.  The weather still allows you to be outside and experience all of the area's beauty.  One of my favorite things to do is go to the beach  The Oregon beach is so different than any other coast I have visited.  Mainly because of the fog, the trees and the color of the water.  I think that when I take visitors to the Oregon coast they are so surprised to see that it isn't clear and sunny with nice sandy beaches.  Anyway, here are ...

Across the USA in 31 Days and over 8500 Miles on my Harley Sportster. One of the most amazing trips I've ever taken. Left home with 2000 dollars a 20 yr old motorcycle, and my fingers tightly crossed! This trip let me see just what the US really is from coast to coast, changing my opinion about people. (For every one nasty person you meet out there you meet TEN NICE PEOPLE)

The way to Crater Lake
posted by:
Jul 15, 2007 - Jul 19, 2007
The drive was pretty uneventful. We drove by Mt Shasta, CA then went to pick up my friend Sara who is a Ranger on the Rogue River in Galice, OR. On the way to the lake we stopped at the Natural Bridge. It used to be a lava tube and then collapsed and water now runs through it. There are parts of the Rogue River that run underground. The hike was pretty short and it was a great stop.

Texas, USA -› Oregon, USA -› ...
By far ... the Pacific Northwest coast of the USA is one of my favorite places. Part of that love is due to the fact that my charming sister, Vanessa, lives there with her husband, Mike, and their daughter, Matilda. Between the bustling city of Portland and the vast wilderness playground that is available everywhere this is a rad place to spend a little time explorying, adventuring, wining, dining, and hanging out with the liberals. This is also a great place to get a tatoo ... tre chic ...

Redding, CA to Klamath Falls, OR., Crater Lake, Lava Bed Natl Monument
posted by:
Mar 31, 2002 - Nov 27, 2007
After an overnight at the Elks Lodge in Redding, I continued north east to Klamath Falls, OR. Friends of mine had introduced me to a lady there and off I went on my blind date. Parked at a nice commercial RV park there. Met my date and found her to be a lovely lady and that we had much in common. We took a day and went up to Crater Lake and discovered a very beautiful place. This lake sits in a huge 5 mile crater on top of a mountain. Many thousands of years ago, the mountain blew it's top c...

On a quick trip up to Oregon I took a few shots of this cape.  I have always loved this place, one of the most breath taking views I've seen.  It is located South of the Newport/Yachats area on the central Oregon coast.  These pictures were taken on one of the rare beautiful May days on Memorial Day weekend.

Wine tasting in Willamette Valley, Oregon
posted by:

If you like drinking good Pinot Noir, eating good food and just enjoying beautiful, uncrowded wine country then you have to go up to the Willamette Valley in Oregon.  The small towns of Dundee and Newberg are wonderful to hang out in - we even went to a drive-in movie one night.  There are lots of nice little restaurants and fun small towns to discover. Definitely say "hi" to Cliff Anderson and drink some of his delicious Pinot's at Anderson Winery.  Hard to fin...
