Oregon Shakespeare Festival - The newest of the theatres, appropriately called the New Theatre. You could name it if you make a large donation.
Oregon Shakespeare Festival - Fall colors are magnificent. Blue cheese in nearby Central Point is also magnificent. Local wine is pretty good too.
Oregon Shakespeare Festival - Traffic may be a little heavy in town of 20,000 in summer.
Oregon Shakespeare Festival - The summertime outdoor theatre, vaguely resembling the Globe. Performances go on whatever the weather.

Oregon Shakespeare Festival Apr 14, 2009
This is the best repertory theatre on the West Coast. They start in late Feb and finish about 1st of Nov. During the season they will do 11 plays, about 4 or 5 of them Shakespearean. During the summer and fall they have an outdoor theatre in addition to the other two regular theatres. The plays are all guaranteed to be really well done. We've been going for 10 or 12 years now, usually in the spring and fall as the summer is kind of hectic. Surprisingly good restaurants in this small college town. Reservations advised but last minute tickets sometimes available in the midst of the three theatres. Go to www.muellerstuff.blogspot.com and put Shakespeare in search box for about ten or so entries: different times of the year, individual play reviews, etc
