Great place for kids Sep 24, 2013
If you have kids, or want to see one of the special exhibitions at the Planetarium - then OMSI is good for a morning or afternoon's entertainment and enlightenment.

If you're going on your own, as an adult, then the $13 entrance fee is a bit steep considering what's inside. Having said that - the pre-natal exhibition is fascinating: there's a whole collection of fetuses from 31 days to 38 weeks' old. If you find that morbid - then skip it.

There are lots of interactive displays throughout the museum, which are great for children to learn about nature and science. There's a big room with lots of science labs to learn about physics and chemistry; it was amusing to watch the hair raising caused by the Van der Graaf Generator.
