Orchard Road is the shopping mecca in Singapore. there are many huge shopping malls, bookstores, upmarket restaurants, nightclubs, hotels, and cafes.
If you are looking for branded boutiques such as Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and many more; Ngee Ann City Mall houses those sort of stores. For really cheap buys, check out Lucky Plaza and Far East Plaza. There are at least 20 malls there! Besides that, the official residence of the President of Singapore, 'the Istana' is also nearby (nearest station:Dhoby Ghaut). Come by in the end of the year to see vibrant lights & christmas decorations. Orchard Rd. is a great place to shop, look & observe |
