The San Juans are a beautiful archipelago of islands at the northwest corner of Washing state. They were originally explored (and named) by the Spanish and ended up being divided between the U.S. and Canada. It is a great place for sea kayaking and you can see a variety of creatures including orcas, eagles, and otters. The pictures are from a 5 day trip in June of '07.
