Opole Vacation Guide
Opole is a relatively small city in south western Poland on the Oder River. With less than 150 thousand inhabitants, this is the capital of the Opole Voivodeship and is the historical capital of Upper Silesia.
Opole is the capital of Polish Song with the annual Festival of Polish Songs being held each year since 1963. This small picturesque city offers many things to see and do and numerous parks and canals add to its charm.
Points of interest are old churches, monasteries, a beautiful market square surrounded by stately old tenement houses, museums and a zoo. These places of interest are easily to reach from the city center making it possible to see most everything in a short visit.
While there be sure to try one of the city's many restaurants with specialties of Silesian cuisine.

I had this thought that it would be nice to show you and tell you a little bit about the city I currently live and study in...I better do it quickly though before I move out...I tend to have too many great ideas and quite soon one of them could be that I want to live in...Cracow:))), yeah why not?! (under construction)
