The only way to see it all is the ferry cruise. There are several companies/options from a quick trip to dinner cruises so take yer pick and don't forget your camera. From the boat you get the best views of the Opera House, The Coat Hanger (Sydney Bridge) and the Park across the way. I was flying from Melbourne to Cairns and made sure to get a free stopover it Sydney for the afternoon. And while your there stop at the aquarium & the Mall- both great sites in the city.
