We headed back to Toronto on the train yesterday, pretty uneventful journey, we did get some views of Lake Ontario though once we were nearing Toronto. We arranged our train tickets to go to Jasper from Winnipeg next wednesday.
After signing in at HI Toronto we went to our room and were slightly disappointed - 3 bunkbeds all squashed into a tiny room - think we were both a little disheartened!! I'm sure its not going to be the worst of our travels!! Went out for a wander do...

Sudbury, Canada -› -› ...
Sudbury is surrounded by rocks ... everywhere ... and as mentioned in previous blogs it is a mining city, growing so fast that apartments are few if any and housing prices are $200,000+ for a basic old house or $285,000+ for a small new house ... so got up early Friday.....had to go with my cousin Gerry to pick up a rental car. Went down to his restaurant. Actually helped him to refill some supplies and get things set up for the breakfast rush before his staff arrived.
At around 9am he called over to his friend at the rental car office. My cousin was told that they were short staffed and he would have to come to the office. We left to drive over and after getting there it took about 20 minutes to get a vehicle...
