I found Niagara Falls to be very weird! This might sound dumb but I didn't realise it was an actual city in Canada. We stayed on the Canadian side as it wasn't much hassle to get over the border. We stayed the weekend in Niagara Falls for my birthday. It is only 2 1/2 hours away from our hometown so we go here quite often!

Spent just over a week in Ottawa attending the 2007 Canadian Geotechnical Conference. I met lots of interesting people and friends I had not seen in a long time. It was great going to a conference and getting paid to make the most of it. Ottawa is a beautiful city and I would recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.

We got off to a bad start in Toronto, but a great chinese meal soon made us feel better. We can definately say we ate well in Toronto. However the weather was scorchio and it was way too humid for us (78% ish).  The biggest disappointment was the CN tower.  We got some nice photos of it from the outside, but to be honest we weren't  convinced it was worth the time or the money.  We knew that it was going to be busy, but most off the look out floor...
