One Vallarta Hotel Puerto Vallarta

This place has gone through many changes. First it was Playa del Sol, marketed as fractional ownership. Then it was changed primarily timeshares. Than the name was change to Blue Seas and marketed to the gay and lesbian community. Now it is in the process of being sold and becoming One Vallarta. Note, as of September 8, 2009 the sale has not yet been completed and none of the wonderful changes that are being planned have yet to be started. I have been an owner here for almost 10 years and am going back for eight weeks, again, next year. But I know what I am in for. Do your homework before you book and make sure that this place is right for you. It is not fancy, at least not yet. During the high season there are a lot of older fractional owners around and a smattering of families. It is not a swinging resort by any stretch of the imagination. The best thing going for it is the location. On the beach and in the heart of town.
