Pretty from the outside Jul 16, 2008
I am writing this review from my hotel room in Indianapolis. Although this is a perfectly nice room, I expected much more from an Omni property. The hotel is located on the southwestern end of the main downtown area, and everything seems to be within walking distance. The Circle Centre mall is directly across the street and there are many many restaurants in all price ranges very close by. In sum, the location of the Omni is very convenient.
My disappointment is a result of the quality of the room itself. The wallpaper in both the bathroom and closet is falling off the wall. This makes me feel like I am staying in a much lower-quality hotel. If you are not an Omni Select Guest member, join as soon as you make reservations to stay at an Omni property. In addition to express check-in, you can access the Wi-fi network for free and receive door tags good for two free morning beverages! Pros: great location, good amenities Cons: cheap quality room |
