Omni Parker House Hotel Boston Reviews
Incredible convenient location in Boston Sep 08, 2009
As I arrived at the hotel I couldn't believe how great the location was. Right on the Freedom Trail, I was steps away from several other stops on the Trail and within a few blocks could be on four different subway lines.
Check-in and check-out went smoothly, and the concierge was very helpful in providing suggestions for dinner, movie schedules, info on local attractions, etc. While the room was on the small side, it was well appointed. And I loved the fact that there was a full-length mirror in the hall with plenty of light. This meant that while one of us was taking a shower, the other could be getting ready in the room. I plan to keep this hotel at the top of my list for my next trip to Boston. |

Old charming hotel centrally located Jul 24, 2009
I bought the room on Priceline and knew i was getting a deal. My room was pretty small but i dont think they are all that way. My bed was super comfortable. The TV was nice. My room was clean and had all new amenities. however.... the hallways and elevators were not air conditioned. The bathroom didnt have a counter for me to put my stuff and only had shelves about the bowl that i couldn't reach. I live in NYC, and am used to living in small spaces, but this was small even for me. It was, however, centrally located. I was within walking distance to everything. Overall, i wouldn't stay there again, because i feel like there are a million places to stay in boston that are better. But for the money, it was fine for me for a quick weekend trip, which i was only in the room to sleep.

History, elegance, culture, beauty Jul 21, 2008
As Boston's purportedly longest continuously operating hotel, the Parker House has seen a lot of history happen within its walls. A recent $30 million facelift consisted of introducing energy-efficient appliances and windows, completely redesigne...read entire review at TravelPost.com

I would not board my dog in this hotel May 02, 2008
The experience began with a 15 minute wait in line to check in.
As I got to my floor and began walking to the room, the hallways struck me as looking more like a dreary, unclean, low-rent apartment house. As I got to my room, I entered my ke...read entire review at TravelPost.com |

Perfect for Savvy Travelers Jan 06, 2008
Yes, the rooms aren't huge, but they have been (obviously) recently renovated, have everything you need, and are luxurious and very comfortable. You cannot beat the location, and the staff was not only very friendly but each one we encountered ...read entire review at TravelPost.com

Young Professional looks for relaxation Oct 30, 2007
The Parker House rides on the coat-tails of the Kennedy 'Dynasty.' The Lobby is beautiful, the staff wonderful, but if you're looking for comfortable rooms and spacious bathrooms, this ISN'T the place. The room service is exceptionally over-pric...read entire review at TravelPost.com

Running on Reputation Sep 29, 2007
Sadly, this historic hotel is operating on its past reputation for greatness rather than striving for current high performance. The room carpets are in desperate need of washing and there are scrapes down the hallways from the bellman's luggage c...read entire review at TravelPost.com

Expensive, but worth it! Jun 21, 2007
My room was small, but classy. The ceilings were high and it had been updated recently. The shower needed a longer curtain so water didn't splash out, but it was comfortable. The bed linens were amazing, and I slept very well there. The staff ...read entire review at TravelPost.com

Good rooms - bad service Sep 27, 2005
Beautiful historic hotel with spacious comfortable rooms in a nice area near the Freedom Trail.
Unfortunately the service was the worst I'd ever come across when it came to checking in and requests for information.read entire review at TravelPost.com |
