Doug and I went to bed last night knowing that we were going to have a day of traveling ahead of us. We woke at nine, had our typical eggs/toast and went about our merry way…heavy backpacks and all. We walked down the street and tried to "wheel and deal" rates for a taxi ride to the dock. We were heading over to an island called Ometepe.
