Olympos Vacation Guide
Under the shade of nearby amazing travel destination Antalya, Olympos offers a lot to the visitors. It has two beautiful beaches with the turquoise waters. Especially "Cirali beach" is one of the top destinations for yachts.
The name comes from the greek mythology and the ancient city was worshiping to god of fire Hephaestos, the story of Chimeria is occurred here and the eternal flame has still been burning since the fire created. Especially the night walks to this mysterious site is fantastic, and it's worth to hike to the top.
Olympos still has the ruins of ancient Lycian city. The river (Akcay River) is used like a gate to the sea, especially to hide from pirate attacks.
In the area, there are lots of small pensions and camping places. Especially the wooden cottages preferred by backpackers.
