 Olympic Airlines - My Review and Thoughts Jun 27, 2009
Olympic Airlines is a Greek airliner out of Athens Greece. I flew with them once from Berlin, Germany to get to Athens, Greece.
The check in process was ok. Ticket agent did not say much to me. But otherwise nothing negative to say. The flight from Berlin to Athens was fine. The plane was clean and seats were comfortable. There was no problems whatsoever. This airline is rated as a really bad airline though. Plaqued by bad press and often go on strike. So I must have lucked out on this one. Landing in Athens was good, but a little bumpy. As I noticed the plan was going across the runway when landing. Overall a decent experience. Take your chance on flying with them, with all the bad press though.  Part of the list Airlines Flown In all my Travels

After a good night's sleep, we were up pretty early to get showered and something to eat. As I think I've mentioned, the bath was roughly the size of a shoebox, so the bathroom flooded a little bit when I was washing my hair, but never mind!

After spending almost 2 full days travelling from Florence to Athens, we were fully exhausted and slept well our first night. We booked a dorm room with a few other people, but something happened were we got our own 2 person bunk bed room with…… Athens |

We had our first trip to the open air market near our apartment! Let me just tell you, once shopping there we had no plans to buy our fruits, vegetables, or eggs anywhere but there from that day forward. The market was just a few blocks from the boy…… Market and Free Transportation Day |
