Olives Princeton Reviews
Olives, hummus and Falafel oh my!! Mar 26, 2009
Olives is a local deli and bakery located on Witherspoon st. near the Princeton Library and University. They have a great selection of salads, prepared foods, sandwiches, and veggie friendly meals available on their menu as well as chips, breads, healthy snacks and drinks. Its a great place to go for a bite to eat if you are in a mixed diet group.
I usually order the hummus or falafel sandwich and both are delicious! I usually pass on ordering sides because the sandwiches are a filling portion on their own and you can easily ring up a large bill when ordering with hungry eyes!!
The only real downfall is the lack of indoor seating. They have a small counter with some stools in the back. Its not a problem during nice summer days when you can walk around the corner to Palmer sq or across Nassua St to the university for a picnic, but when the weather is less then ideal and the place is packed with hungry people be prepared to eat in your car :P
The employees are always very friendly and the deli/bakery is always clean!!
you can check out there website for the menu and clear directions! Def consider the place if your passing through Princeton!
