Olgii is the Aimag Centre of Bayan-Olgii. It's a small town construct by few streets with Soviet style buildings, the main square and a market and then some Ger neighborhoods.
Not much happened here but it's a good place to get some supply. There are few groceries and in the market you can find pretty much all you need and if it's your lucky day you may even find some fruits (mainly Appals from Russia).
The market is also a good place to find a ride. You do want to come early at the morning (it doesn't say a thing about the departing time - you may leave only at the evening time) and look for mini-vans or jeeps that operate as a service taxi or look for someone that going to where ever you want to go and willing to take you (most likely you will be ask to pay).
This is not for sure, but it's seems that now tourist can use the nearby border cross with Russia. You may want to check it before you go.
If you are looking for a place to spend the night, just head to the main square and look around, there are 2-3 hotels (if you wish to name them with this title).

The best thing you can do in Olgii is to go away! the countryside around is incredible beautiful!!!
