Olema Farmhouse Reviews
Olema Farmhouse Mar 09, 2008
Ok, this is totally going to kind of a biased review because I ate here right after a 2-day, 17 mile hiking/camping trip, and after 2 days of hiking with little food, everything tastes like a million bucks.
That said, the Olema Farmhouse has an extensive menu of marin specialties, including lots of oyster options, local meats, and lots of dishes featuring Cowgirl Creamery cheese -- and what doesn't taste good with Cowgirl Creamery cheese on top?
Chris and Ryan got the oysters, which were tastey and huge. I got the Mt. Tam Chicken, an oven-roasted chicken topped with Cowgirl Creamery "Mt. Tam" cheese on a bed of fettuccine with white sauce. It was really good (although, like I said, my senses were a taaaaad heightened by hunger). Plus, the menu said my chicken came from Petaluma, which is a town that kinda smells like chickens when you drive into it. That's gotta be good chicken, right?
