Olea Ixelles Reviews
Olea - Scents and savours of the south Oct 29, 2009
Olea is yet one of many good restaurants situated in the surroundings of Chatelain in Brussels. After a back-to-the-roots year in Sardinia, Regina Piffarerio had the brilliant idea of opening a restaurant in Brussels in honour of the olive.
Oléa, is a culinary establishment created in 2006 enchants the taste buds with Mediterranean flavours and closely connected to the African spices. The key words could be health, warmth and a change of scenery. There food is wonderful and I truly enjoy coming to this little restaurant just next to where I live.
The restaurant is small and usually rather crowded and especially in the summer when you can use their little garden in the back behind the restaurant.
I can recommend there speciality which is fish served with a piquant sauce; it is spicy and it makes wonders to you taste senses in your mouth. If you the combine this with some good company and a great bottle of Pouilly-Fumé from the Loire Valley you should have a guarantee for a great evening.
