If you are into history and experiencing the past, this is a good place to visit for a day or two. There is a church that is one of the oldest buildings in all of Italy. The people are great! Check out the downtown shopping, get some chocolate and just plain enjoy all of the old buildings that have stood for such a long long time.
Always remember, well as of this writing anyway, everything in Italy is expensive, mainly because the Euro is almost double the American dollar. So, if it's 8 Euro for a meal, it's around 12-14 bucks for you. As with anywhere, there is good and bad.. There was some homelessness, but mainly prostitutes, EVERYWHERE. The police mainly keep them on the outside of the city. But don't be surprised if you girl standing on the side of the road in with a thong on in the freezing cold. |
