We are situated in Mpumalanga and will accommodate you with real South African hospitality. Crazy Dave (who did the travel thing himself for 4 years) and Bella (born and bred in this area), believe in comfort and value for money. Situated next to a bird abundant nature reserve, the Old Vic is clean and spacious, with snug double or twin ensuite rooms that come with fresh towels and linen included in the price. Treat yourself to a dunk in the pool and a walk in the reserve, then let their in-house travel centre sort out the rest of your stay. They organise anything from a day trip to the Blyde River Canyon, overnight trips to the Kruger, travel itineraries, air tickets, car rentals and have information on other South African destinations. OLD VIC Tours Prices 2008 Tour One is a two day one night Kruger /Blyde canyon tour: We leave Nelspruit early 5.00am and make our way to Kruger where we spend the morning looking for some of 140 mammals and of course the Big Five.We have brunch at one of Kruger's great picnic spots before we make our way to the famous Lower Sabie camp(if possible; the top camp in Kruger) for a little rest in your bungalow.That evening we go on a night drive that only Kruger can take you on,for three hours,you return to a good old South African Braai under the African Skies. Up early on day two as we make our way out of the park with a three hour game drive to Kruger Gate as we try and find animals not yet ticked off your check list.We leave Kruger behind and make our way up into the Small Drankensberg Mountain range so visit place like God's Window;Lisbon Falls;Bourke's Potholes and the world's third largest canyon and the only growing canyon,the Blyde Canyon.Lunch is at the famous Harrie's Pancakes. We return to Nelspruit in the late afternoon. Price is 2150.00 rand per person sharing minimum two people.Budget accommodation. Price 2450.00 rand per person sharing minimum two people with en-suite rooms. Tour Two is three days and two nights Kruger/Blyde,two days in Kruger.
