Dubrovik is situated on the South of the Adriatic coast that is opulence with beautiful islands and we would like to emphasize island Mljet. The island is rich with natural resources and there is one of the most beautiful natural parks. While staying at Katarina House do not miss the opportunity to visit beautiful beach Banje, island Lokrum or the town Cavtat.Regular boat tours from the Old Harbor will take you to Island Lokrum, Cavtat and other interesting destinations.Close to the apartment you can find sailing, boat hire, water skiing, wind surfing, walking, tennis.
The house Katarina Old town has a two apartment. Apartment Danijela can accommodate 5 persons, and studio Petra can accommodate 2 persons. |

We left Hvar for Split on the morning ferry, but booked a night bus to Dubrovnik so that we didn't waste a beautiful day of sunshine sitting on a bus. Our Aussie friends were also on that ferry, and their ferry to Italy didn't leave until late…Old Town around 7, and did the walk around the high city walls. These walls are quite tall, and go all the way around Old Town. It was so pretty at night, much cooler than during the day and the sun was sitting low on the horizon… Dubrovnik, last stop in Croatia |

Finally reached Dubrovnik at 6.30pm. The hostel was located on the hilly side overlooking the bay in Lapad suburb in the peninsula. There was no other guest as summer season just ended. The hostel owner had arranged me to stay at another double bed …Old Town. What a beautiful old town surrounded by fortress it was! And the weather was gorgeous; it’s very rare to have sunny blue sky like summer days in October from what the local has said. Dubrovnik Old City is truly charming in par with… Dubrovnik... what a beautiful Coastal town! |

Woke up early and we walked down to the beach, about a 10 minute walk from the room. Many restaurants and concessions run perpindicular to the beach. The beach was made of rocks, so sun beds were definitely necessary. The beds were…old town. Pretty sweet view of the sunset over the ocean, but the drinks came at a hefty price.
