Great location for central prague. Is less than a 5 minute walk to the prague plaza and is surrounded by restaurants, cafes, and shops.

The place is clean and hospitable. There is two floors of rooms, most are dorms which you share with six to eight people. The beds are comfortable and they provide sheets and towels. Shared floor bathrooms which are very clean all the time (two ladies clean that place all day). Price includes a breakfast sandwich, cereal, milk, coffee, orange juice.

The staff could be a it more friendly. They just give the key and set you off. They only provide info if you ask.

The bad thing about this place is that they allow smoking in the common areas (not inside the rooms) so you leave smelling like cigarettes. Also, at night people like gather in the common area to drink and talk, which can get very noisy. Is a great place to meet people but is not a quiet hostel

This hostel had to be the best hostel that we stayed in! It was soo clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. All the rooms were really clean as well as the bathrooms. And the most important thing to me is the shower and they were very nice as well!! Everytime we went into the hostel we saw someone cleaning. ALWAYS! In the morning you get free breakfast which to tell the truth isn't that great..it's just cornflakes but you also get one free sandwhich a day which is actually really good!! At first when we got to the hostel we were pretty confused because no other places gives away a sandwhich a day haha. The hostel also provides a really friendly atmosphere as there are lounge areas and kitchens on the first and second floor where everyone hangs out and meets. Some of the rooms have actual beds and some of the rooms have bunk beds but they all have lockers in them which were good quality and kept your belongings safe. This hostel is very close to the Old town square and not too far of a walk from restaurants, grocery stores, and nightlife. The hostel also provides free interent with 2 computers and maps of the city as well as brochures for other fun stuff to do! It's not that far of a walk from the train station but it's not the main train station so if you are leaving from the main station you have to take the underground but it's only a couple of stops. If you are going to Prague I definatley recommend this hostel. One of the best!

This hostel was great! Would recommend it to any traveller who is looking for a fun time in Prague! We stayed in a 6-bed dorm, everything was clean and there was one cupboard for each person to lock their stuff up in. Showers were clean (although in peak times not exactly hot, but still bearable), toilets also clean and common room area also spotless (if a bit smoky at times). Best of all, the staff were really relaxed - no packing up the breakfast at 5 past 10, it just kind of sat there until everyone had had their fill. There's also safety deposit boxes at reception and a cage to put your luggage in after you've checked out. Five minute walk to old town square, supermarket round the corner (you can also cook at the hostel) and clubs, bars etc. all within easy walking distance.

Awesome hostel. No joke. Old Prague Hostel was great. We walked in and could tell it was a secure place. There is a huge cage, which is securely locked up, to store your bags in if you don't leave Prague till later in the day after your checkout. Free Internet, which is always a plus. The two people who run the place (a girl and a guy) were always in great moods and more than willing to help or answer any questions. The rooms were clean, and there were cabinets to lock up your baggage in every room with a key. Always hot water. Clean bathrooms. There was in fact a woman there cleaning around the clock. Common rooms had a lovely feeling with storage in fridges and lots of dishes. Lots of people out mingling so it was easy to meet other people. Plus, the location couldn't have been better. Right next to the main old square, and near tons of attractions. I've traveled all over Europe now a couple of times and found this to be one of my favorite hostels of all. After all, cleanliness is important! Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

Always clean!
