Great Jazz/Dixieland (plus) Band! Feb 20, 2008
If you can find this band performing live, try to have a listen to them! They have been playing Jazz and Dixieland standards since 1968 and are still going strong.
From their website: "They also have unconventional repertory: from standards off traditional jazz. through famous 'evergreens' such as Bel Ami, Midnight in MOSCOW, up to jazz version of Forelle by Schubert." Usually singing the songs in their original language, occasionally they will change it up, as with “What a Wonderful World” in which they flip flop between the traditional English language lyrics and Polish translated ones. Plus, in the middle of their set, drummer Wiktor Kierzkowski will surprise you with an amazingly long solo. By far the longest I’ve ever seen, and he doesn’t cheat it at all! These pictures are from when they played at Od Nova Pub, but they also play regularly on Friday nights at Plastyków in Krakow. No cover charge!  Part of the 18 months in Krakow travel blog
