Be Transformed to the Victorian Era Nov 20, 2011
The Old Consulate Inn was the Hastings House originally and was started to be built in 1890. The original wallpaper and mouldings are still in place with several pieces of original furniture from the Olsen family that finished building the house in 1904.

The current owners are well suited to run this B&B as they both enjoy dressing up in Victorian costume and entertaining. The proprietress is an excellent cook and is well versed in preparing food for people with allergies (gluten-free, dairy-free, etc.). You only need to let her know of your dietary restrictions when you make your reservation.

Each guest room is done up in a different color/style. There are many extra pillows and blankets and other amenities. Outside, there is a gazebo that is partially enclosed where one can relax and enjoy the weather.

The Inn is also within walking distance of the waterfront.
