Will Rogers "Never met a man that he didn't like"; an accolade that describes the man who also was an Indian, cowboy, author, newspaper columnist, actor, aviator, observer of human nature & thinker. His native-son notoriety has been remembered & honored in Claremore Oklahoma where a magnificent structure houses his memorial & museum. We wish we had more time to spend with his memorabilia; it was a great reflection of a common man who was unique and loved by many.

So I just finished three days of nonstop fun and a few days of hangovers. I got to play some golf with my boys and hang out with all of my college friends. To top everything off, I was in my good friend's wedding. I love coming to OKC. I need to get alot of rest today because I'm about to board my flight to Munich for Oktoberfest. It's going to be a few more days of debauchery and I love it.

Before heading off to my morning meeting with the client there in Norman, I got a quick breakfast at the Country Inn and Suites. Clearly there was some type of church conference in town. Staying at my hotel was a couple of busloads of people from an African American Church from Georgia.
It was during breakfast I first saw the controversial clips on CNN from Rev. Wright saying "God Damn America". We all were glued to the TV and the somewhat noisy breakfast room became...

We started our trip by going to the Gloss Mountains (also called Glass Mountains). It's a remote area in the northwest area of Oklahoma. Being such a flat state, it is remarkable to see these spring up out of the ground. The range is called the Gloss Mountains because of the gypsum in the soil, causing a shiny appearance when the sun hits at the right angle. There is a trail up to the top of one of the mountains, but it sure was windy up at the top! I was also disappointed to discover that th...

We were now riding right through the middle of America's Great Prarie. This was the land of the "tornado in the distance" that we have seen so many times on the Weather Channel. Flat and wide-open spaces spread out in every direction. Cattle and sunflowers seem to be the "crop of choice" for the Kansas farmers. Acres of yellow faces were smiling from their stalks as they waved and nodded in the wind. We continued to ride south on Highway 83 to Gard...

Des
de Flagstaff tinc sort i soc una de les afortunades en acoseguir una
placa al bus. Un altre cop overbooking i alguns es queden a
l'estacio.
