We got up early today, and I finished packing. McKenzie drove me into town for the last time =( We went to this gas station type thing so that I could catch a combie ride to Windhoek. We got there early and had to wait a couple hours for the van to fill up. So I said goodbye to McKenzie and climbed in the 12-passenger van which was stuffed with 16 adults and  two babies, and we took off on the 7+ hour drive to the city. It was the longest most uncomfortable drive EVER! I was jammed again...

The day we left Etosha it was 39 degrees and still steaming...we drove to Rundu a big city where my New Zealand guy friend and I walked for 25 minutes down a deserted road searching for the post office. Entertaining enough there was a bank on this road with a ridiculous line and I believe it was due to the poster board outside that read " Open an account today and receive free FUNERAL coverage of 250,000 $N." I thought that was hilarious... What a way to advertise your bank...haha
