Okaukuejo Rest Camp Etosha Reviews

We have booked two separate campsites in Etosha NP. These sites are run by NWR (Nambia Wildlife Resorts) and are very popular so it is sensible to book well in advance. The first night we have chosen the biggest of the three: Okaukuejo Rest Camp, not far from the Anderson entrance Gate. The campsite is nothing more than a crowded and dusty piece of land with fire pits and some lonely trees which provide some shade (our spot had no tree… so… no shade). There were enough clean facility buildings. The campsites were real close to each other, so not much privacy. On the positive side: it was only about 100 meters from the floodlit water hole. This is a great place to sit for hours and see lots of wildlife (we saw many elephants, zebras, giraffes, rhinos and even some lions).
