The end of April and the beginning of May 2009 I visited South-Africa & Swaziland with my parents and sister for 16 days. This vacation was all about the safaris and wild animals! We were very excited about it and we couldn't wait to see the first wild animals. We visited Johannesburg, Pretoria, Ohrigstad, Pelgrim's Rest, Kruger National Park, Swaziland, KwaZulu-Natal, Zululand, Hluhluwe Wildpark, St. Lucia, Durban, Drakensbergen ans lots of little villages inbetween.

Het is opnieuw een warme dag als wij na het ontbijt wegrijden bij het hotel in Pretoria. Vertrek, 08.00 uur sharp! Vergis ik me nu of was dit ook een vakantie?? Wij zijn blij dat wij de stad uitgaan, want daar zijn we niet voor gekomen. Onderweg en het landschap verandert, veel landbouw, mais, veld…
