There is a lot to see and do in Odaiba. Its a man made island out near Tokyo bay. On a clear day you will get a great view of the rainbow bridge.
There is lots of shopping themed areas like little Hong Kong and Little Italy. The futuristic looking building Fuji TV is located there. You can ride a big Ferris wheel. If you want to experience onsen they have a traditional one there too. There is even a mini statue of liberty. As well as museums and parks. You can spend an entire day just walking around here shopping, eating and exploring. You can also take a boat cruise on the sumida river and arrive here from Asakusa or you can take the boat back to Asakusa. After our horrible package tour experience in Shanghai some 7 months back, we've sworn it off for good! So yes I rather get lost in a city than being lugged around in a bus by some bitchy queer with a microphone. You end up having no recollection of…Odaiba that day. And it's commencing very soon, as soon as Chikara-san arrives. Tokyo has one of the most impressive and effective train system, I believe, in the world. Because we don't understand Japanese at all, we were blindly being… Asakusa & Odaiba |
