Jazz club Feb 20, 2008
Od Nova Pub is a Jazz club on Grodzka street (close to the main market square). Inside (which means, downstairs) is a great piwnica very much in the style of Krakow, where it has the aura of a wine cellar or dungeon, the walls are made of uneven rock, and at uneven angles. It’s dark and smoky. To top it off there is a small “stage” where bands can set up and offer up Jazz for you in a great setting. The beer is not too expensive, plus they offer a discount with a valid student ID and there has been no cover charge when I’ve been there. The pictures are from a night when “The Old Metropolitan Band” performed. They are great (but I think I’ll leave a review of them separately).
