Okay so i decided to try the bungy at the Auckland Harbour Bridge because 1) Bungy jumping is in my list of “things to do before I die”, 2) Auckland Bridge is only 43m, hence perfect for a first-timer, 3) I’ve always wondered how it feels like killing myself, and 4) I didn’t wanna be a wuss…

I'd been in Railway Square YHA for over a week at this point and I'd been going more and more insane with each passing day. I'd gone to Travellers Xpress, an agency especially for Working Holiday Makers (particularly the British), helping them find office jobs during their stay. I filled in the for…

Outstanding service
I
think the ship’s biggest asset was its staff. We simply couldn’t fault them.
They were always friendly, polite, obliging, hardworking, and they all had
freakishly accurate memories!
We
had a steward assigned to our room who cleaned it twice a day, a dri…

Our second day
in the Northern Territory
was also spent at Uluru. The sunrise was beautiful. We sat next to each other

as Uluru slowly changed to a vivid red colour with the change in light.
After the sunrise we …

Alas! My time in Europe, extended, extreme and extraordinary as it was, has come to a close. It was incredibly hard to leave Amsterdam and the amazing people I met there and equally as hard to know that it will be a while before I see all the friends I have made all over this wacky continent.
Too…

I'm all packed.
Farewell to Mike and Alana, and here's to re-seeing them again soon.

I board the p…

Waiting in the long queues at customs I decided to see if m…
